The texture itself provides a slip resistant and cooler surface to insure a foot friendly patio. In most cases 40% cooler than a brick, stamp or painted surface.

As for design it is up to your imagination and budget. An average resurfacing project ranges from $5 to $6 dollars per square foot. which is about the same price as to rip out and dispose of concrete. The cost per foot would go up depending on the substrate surface preparation and a more intricate design options.
